This evening at 22:00 (Esport3, BarçaTV, MarcaTV) FC Barcelona Alusport will have the chance to take a giant step towards the LNFS title. For this to happen, however, the Azulgranas must beat a very competitive team, ElPozo Murcia, the champions of the regular season. ElPozo are a team that are accustomed to playing in big matches and finals. The Murcia side have experienced players like Kike - who has featured in 11 of the last 13 finals.

How FC Barcelona Alusport

The team led by Marc Carmona want to keep on winning titles. In the pre-match press conference at the Camp Nou, the Azulgrana manager said that this season has been “excellent,” but his players want to keep on making history, especially when the opportunity to continue the team’s good run presents itself at the Palau - in front of the Barça’s fans.

Barça Alusport are still without Ari Santos. The Brazilian picked up an injury in the last match of the semi-final series against Inter Movistar and he was unable to participate in the first match against ElPozo (3-5). The sprain to his right knee is still causing the player problems and even though he’ll undergo medical tests today, a decision on his participation in tonight’s match won’t be made until hours before the game.

The rival

ElPozo are one of the historic teams of the LNFS. Kike, the team captain, is a legend in Spanish futsal just like Javi Rodríguez and others like, Grello, Saul, Salgado, Miguel and the keeper Rafa. All of these players are extremely experienced, and they’ll give it their all to take tonight’s match.

The Murcia side come into tonight’s match with the second half of the first match against Barça as the template to follow. Despite losing, the team offered up fantastic play and if it hadn’t been for the accuracy in front of goal from Barça and, especially for Cristian’s incredible performance, ElPozo might have won the first match.
