New FC Barcelona striker Paco Alcácer is settling into life at his new club, and also in a frontline that features the world-famous trident. Speaking to club media about his first few days, the former Valencia man admits that it will be hard to win a regular place in such a formidable attack. “There has never been anyone like Messi in all of history” he says. “And being able to play alongside him is a privilege,”

For the 23-year-old, it is just as much of an honour to “share a dressing room with Luis Suárez, the best centre forward in the world. I was really looking forward to playing with him.”

As for part three of the MSN, Alcácer says that “Neymar Jr is very good. He’s young and still has a lot of football in him. He just enjoys playing the game so much.”

Describing his emotions when he first heard about the Club’s interest, he explains that “I couldn’t believe it. When a club as big as Barça calls, it hits you.”

“I’d describe myself as intuitive” he continues. “I have a goalscoring instinct. I will give one hundred per cent in training and in every game. I am here to do my bit.”

Alcácer concludes with some words about his former club. “I owe everything to Valencia, because that’s where I got the chance to grow,” he says. “That club made me a better footballer and more importantly, a better person. And that helped me to come here. I wish them all the best.”
