Iniesta and Busquets are two of the players in the Spain squad | MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

On Friday the squad for Spain’s games against Colombia and Macedonia, the latter a qualifier for the World Cup in Russia in 2018, was announced by coach Julen Lopetegui. The list includes Jordi Alba, Gerard Piqué, Sergi Roberto, Sergio Busquets and Andrés Iniesta from FC Barcelona for both matches. The game against Colombia takes place on 7 June at 9.30pm CET in Murcia whilst the fixture against Macedonia takes place in Skopje on 11 June at 8.45pm CET.

Denis Suárez has been included in the Spanish U21 squad by coach Albert Celades for the European Championships which take place in Poland this summer.

Elsewhere, German coach Joachim Low has announced his squad for the Confederations Cup in Russia this summer. Marc-André ter Stegen in included  for the tournament which takes place between 17 June and 2 July and sees Germany take on Australia, Chile and Cameroon in the group stage.

Umtiti and Digne have also been selected for France for their games against Paraguay (2 June), Swededn (9 June) and England (13 June).
