Tests carried out today confirm that first team player Rafinha has slightly injured internal meniscus in his right knee. His development over the next 48 hours will decide which is the best course of treatment to follow for the midfielder. The Barça man was substituted after 17 minutes of Sunday’s league game against Granada. 

7 goals in 28 games

Rafinha was making his 28th appearance of the season across all competitions. He has played 18 games in La Liga, four in the Copa del Rey, and six in the UEFA Champions League.

This season is proving to be one of his best in terms of goals. He has six in the league, including the winner in the 1-0 victory at Camp Nou over Granada, and he also scored once in the Copa del Rey.
