More commitment to diversity, creativity and social impact from FC Barcelona with this unique collaboration with La Casa de Carlota, the first design studio in the world to include persons with Down syndrome, autism and other intellectual disabilities among their creative teams.

The collaboration arose out of a shared idea whereby a diversity of perspectives enriches creative methods. This isn't just a symbolic exercise for inclusion, rather a real commitment to creativity that questions set patterns and drives unique ideas.

The project will soon materialise in the form of an own brand capsule collection developed exclusively in conjunction with Barça Licensing & Merchandising (BLM) and promoted by the FC Barcelona Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Department. The collection pieces will see some of the Club's first team football players involved and will be available for purchase very soon in Barça Stores and from the official FC Barcelona e-commerce channels. Further details about the capsule will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Presentation of the collaboration in the director's box at the Spotify Camp Nou

The collaboration was officially presented in the director's box at the Spotify Camp Nou during the match between FC Barcelona and Real Betis, the final home game of the 2025/26 season.

This initiative is taking place during the European Commission's European Diversity Month that aims to promote more inclusion and diversity.

President Rafael Yuste; Maite Laporta, Head of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department; and Gabriel Martínez, Communications Director, on behalf of FC Barcelona. And La Casa de Carlota founder José María Batalla, La Casa de Carlota customer services director Laura Murtra, and the La Casa de Carlota creative and design team Andreu Companyó, David Matas, Duna Giró and Quim Jané were all in the Club director's box to celebrate the start of the project.

Maite Laporta, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion department director

“As diversity increases, inclusion is key for bringing out all talent and creativity. This collaboration shows how Barça operate based on culture, talent and social impact”.

José María Batalla, La Casa de Carlota founder

“Some people's limitations have been the focus for too long rather than their talent. Creativity can be a real way to build a fairer world, where thinking differently also means creating differently.”

With this initiative, through a project that brings together creative neurodivergent people and design professionals for a unique shared creative process, FC Barcelona is strengthening its position of ‘More than a Club’ by being a committed organisation with a contemporary outlook of inclusion, promoting projects in which sport, creativity and social transformation converge.
