Another win in the ASOBAL League for the newly crowned champions as Carlos Ortega's side inflicted a 52-23 defeat on Rebi Cuenca away from home. Dani Fernández top scored for the blaugranes who equalled the record for number of goals in the game in a league encounter. 

Barça started brightly and never looked back as they surged into a 20-7 lead with Hallgrimsson inspired in goal and N'Guessan, Ludovic Fàbregas, Makuc and Barrufet dominating outfield. BY the end of the first half the lead had grown to 15 with the blaurganes leading by 27-12. 

More was to come in the second half with Barça marching into a 19 point lead at 32-13. Ortega's side did not let up the pressure and in doing so racked up 52 goals in the victory, equalling the ASOBAL record. 

25 wins for the blaugranes now in the league as they aim for a 100% record over the whole season. Next challenge is another away trip, this time to BM Nava on Friday.
