He keeps on breaking records. All eyes are on blaugrana star Lamine Yamal again, as he has achieved another personal milestone, this time in the Champions League, with the Barça number 10 becoming the youngest ever to make 30 appearances in the premier club competition in Europe. The teenager marked the occasion with a last minute penalty to salvage a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United with the second leg of their last 16 tie to come next week at Spotift Camp Nou
18 years and 240 days old
Lamine Yamal's involvement in the match at St. James’ Park in Newcastle meant he has achieved another record as the youngest player. The Catalan has now made 30 Champions League appearances aged just 18 years and 240 days old.
He has taken over from Warren Zaïre-Emery on that metric, who made his 30th appearance last October against Bayer Leverkusen aged 19 years and 227 days old. As such, Lamine Yamal has beaten his record by almost a year.
