As of 16 February, six precandidates for the FC Barcelona elections have visited the Members' Office (OAB) to collect support forms made available by the Club to collect the required number of names to be proclaimed official candidates for the Board of Directors elections on 15 March. Those four people were Joan Laporta (member 9,601), Xavier Vilajoana (member 23,707), Víctor Font (member 55,406), Daniel Juan (member 70.761), William Maddock (member 75.015) and Marc Ciria (member 80,941). 

Having collected the forms, the six members are now considered to be precandidates. To be official candidates each must collect a minimum of 2,337 valid signatures. 

The period for requesting support forms for FC Barcelona members will continue until 2 March, a date on which the period for collecting signatures also ends. From that point there will be a period of three day to validate slips and on 5 March the official candidates will be announced.
