FC Barcelona basketball season at Palau to open with 3x3 tournament
Next Friday 10 October at 8.30pm, the Palau Blaugrana will open its doors for the first official game of the 2025/26, a EuroLeague clash with Valencia Basket.
To celebrate the return, members, season-ticket holders and fans will have the chance to enjoy a unique experience. The club is organising a knockout tournament that promises a thrilling day packed with excitement.
How it works
The tournament will begin at 5.00pm outside the Sala París and features 16 teams of three players, with the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals all taking place before tip-off in the EuroLeague clash, while the grand final will be held at half-time right on the Palau Blaugrana court and under the watchful eyes of the blaugrana fans in the stands.
Just for taking part in this special event, every participant will receive an exclusive Palau Opening Game T-shirt. And that’s not all: the three members of the winning team will each be rewarded with the official basketball section jersey for the current season!
How to enter
The only requirement is to hold a ticket for the game (or be a season-ticket member of Barça Basketball) and to fill in the registration form. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 7 October. The 48 winners will be notified by email on October 8, and will then have 24 hours from receipt to confirm their participation.
