There is a midweek trip to Oviedo just two days away and that's what everyone at the club's attention is on now. Hansi Flick gave his players the day off on Monday following the 3-0 defeat of Getafe on Sunday, but there is no more time for rest with another Liga game to prepare for so quickly after. So on Tuesday morning, with the temperatures a lot crisper than they have been for a long time, the players gathered on Camp Tito Vilanova to get back to training.
Balde and Cubarsí back
The good news was the returns of Alejandro Balde and Pau Cubarsí. Both players trained with the group. It was Balde's first session for several days, so he took things cautiously, while Cubarsí was rested as a precautionary measure ahead of the game with Getafe, but was included in the squad and now seems back to his full self. The team was also joined by Barça Atlètic's Dro.
Fermín López, who was injured in the final minute of the game with Getafe, was not present and has been added to the list of unavailable players.
Two games to come
It's a busy week ahead because straight after Thursday's 9.30pm CEST kick-off at the Carlos Tartiere, the team will be preparing for another Liga fixture, this time at home to Real Sociedad on Sunday at 6.30pm CEST.
