After the floral offering to the monument to Rafael Casanova, the FC Barcelona president conversed with the Club's media to explain the current situation surrounding the Spotify Camp Nou.
Joan Laporta first wanted to express his “gratitude for how understanding” members and fans are being regarding the construction process, and he highlighted the “great excitement and emotion” that arises from seeing the stadium almost finished and ready for hosting games. Laporta insisted on the need to continue the administrative process and complete the formalities, but he encouraged maintaining the understanding because “we will have done it together”.
Laporta also highlighted that the project is “the most important in our history” and that “we will be back home soon”, albeit he didn't define a date because that depends on the relevant permits from the institutions. The president assured that the Club is working hard for a return to be a reality as soon as possible, and he explained that the Board of Directors were moved by the stadium during their last visit, stating “it's a wonder all FC Barcelona fans will soon enjoy”.
