La Masia never stops producing talent, and the latest addition to its long list of graduates is Toni Fernández. The 16-year-old made his senior debut in the Copa del Rey against Barbastro, replacing Pablo Torre after 81 minutes. It was a routine 4-0 win for the team, but an unforgettable evening for the player and his family.


Shortly after, he travelled to Saudi Arabia as part of the Super Cup squad, and although he didn't get to play, it was a valuable experience. Back in Barcelona, he recently went back to La Masia and told us all about his feelings that very special night in Aragon. He says he felt calm enough before going on, and afterwards received an emotional call from his family, who were thrilled to bits to see him playing his first official game in the legendary blaugrana jersey.
