Information on the resources available to reach the Estadi Lluís Companys

FC Barcelona is committed to backing public transport as a sustainable method to access the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The transport plan the Club has developed alongside the City Council makes use of the different public transport services to reach the area of Montjuïc with private car use being restricted to those with reduced mobility, Club commitments and those who are part of staff working for the game.

Shuttle buses

The Club will make available to fans a series of free shuttle buses to complete the journey to the stadium.

These buses will be divided into convoys of three every four minutes, which will allow them to make a continuous circuit and maximise journeys.

The buses will depart from two separate points to reach the Estadi Lluís Companys; close to Plaça Espanya and on Carrer del Foc.

Another method of public transport that allows access to the stadium is the Montjuïc Funicular, which can be taken from the Paral·lel metro stop on lines 2 and 3.

Mechanical escalators

The mechanical escalators to go up from Avinguda Reina María Cristina, will become reversible so that before the game they will travel up and following the game down. It is the system with the greatest capacity and the service and lighting will be updated.

Motorbikes, mopeds and personal mobility vehicles

Motorbikes and mopeds will have designated parking areas and access will also be available by bike or motorised scooters.

Restricted access for cars, coaches for supporters' clubs and taxis

Access by private cars will not be possible and there will only be parking for people with reduced mobility, Club commitments or those working as part of the staff on match day. There will be parking in the Fira area to then take the shuttle bus. Access by coach will be for Supporters' Clubs and away fans. Getting to the stadium will be possible by taxi.
