Reserves play much of their first ever Primera RFEF fixture with a man less, but hold on for a draw at the Johan Cruyff
One point each at the Johan Cruyff. Barça B’s first competitive game of the season has ended in a 1-1 draw with Algeciras. The Catalans took a first half lead through Nils Mortimer, the side’s first ever goal in the new Primera RFEF.
But the visitors, playing with an extra man following the sending off of Comas in the second half, were able to equalise in a game that could ultimately have gone either way.
The reserves also had to deal with the setback of an early injury to Peque, and spent the last quarter of an hour defending brilliantly despite numerical inferiority to hold on and salvage an important point.
