The director of the Abidal Foundation, Hayet Abidal, said: "We are very happy that a young patient from the Sant Joan de Déu hospital, with the help of Robot Pol, has been the leading figure in the reopening. It is a symbolical event as it means that from today many other children who find themselves in hospital will be able to experience a visit to the Barça Museum and Camp Nou. This joint project between the Abidal Foundation and the Barça Foundation is a source of hope for lots of children."

Closer to the local public

The Club, at this point in the season, normally welcomes thousands of visitors from all over the world, however, this year things are a little different due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Barça want to encourage local residents and those from Catalonia to come to Camp Nou and discover the delights of the Museum. For that reason they have launched a special reduced price of 10 euros for residents in Catalonia. The Club also reminds members that they can access the Museum for free and between 12 and 30 June they can also gain free access for another visitor too. "This is the most visited museum in Catalonia and we want to bring it closer to the fans from the city and from Catalonia and to remind them that members have free entrance," highlights Oriol Tomàs.
