Rocket League team starts RLCS 9 on Sunday

Barça to face Veloce Esports in the first game of the new season

The Barça Rocket League team has its first game of the season in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) this Sunday against Veloce Esports from 7.40pm CET.

Under the watchful eye of the head coach, El General, this season’s team features the familiar faces of Deevo and Ronaky together with the new signing, Flakes, the latest player to join the team, which he will be hoping to help on the way to a berth in the next Rocket League World Championship.

Barça will debut against Veloce Esports, a British team formed by Flame, Freakii and Kassio, that arrived against all odds to the last World Cup held in Madrid and where they showed their competitive potential.

New format for RLCS

This season, Psyonix has decided to modify the format of the regular season to include two more teams, raising the total to ten.

That means that the RLCS regular season will now include more games and hence more excitement as the competition circuit is further consolidated as it draws the interest of new organisations. Once of these is AS Monaco, which is entering a team for the first time.
