Fourteen players made FC Barcelona debuts for Luis Enrique

Eight players from the first team and six from Barça B got their first minutes for FC Barcelona this season Ivan Rakitic led all newcomers in minutes played, followed by Luis Suártez and Claudio Bravo

Luis Enrique’s FC Barcelona completed a Treble-winning season that will go down in history thanks to a style of play based on a core of existing players as well as the contributions of new signings who arrived last summer. Six Barça B players also spent time with the team.

Here's a look at those newcomers and what they brought to this season's record-breaking squad:

Ivan Rakitic (3,603 minutes played): The Croatian midfielder was a key player all season long, playing in 51 matches and scoring 8 goals. His last one opened the scoring in the UEFA Champions League Final.

Luis Suárez (3,546 minutes played): The Uruguayan striker adapted seamlessly and, next to Messi and Neymar, formed a part of a forward line whose 122 goals are the most in history. Suárez himself scored 25 in 43 games.

Claudio Bravo (3,330 minutes played): Barça’s goalkeeper for all La Liga games, Bravo was fabulous, and won the Zamora Trophy after conceding only 19 goals in 37 games.

Jérémy Mathieu (2,759 minutes played): The Frenchman played 41 games and scored three goals at centre-back and left wing-back.

Marc-André ter Stegen (1,890 minutes played): The goalkeeper played every game in the Champions League and had a leading role in the Spanish Cup. Despite his youth, has showed a great deal of maturity, conceding just 21 goals in 16 matches.

Munir El Haddadi (871 minutes played): The Barça B striker was one of the revelations of the early season and was one of the main substitutes on the front line. This season he debuted in all three competitions and scored one goal in 16 games. Interestingly, his lone goal came in his league debut for Barça’s 3–0 victory over Elche on 24 August 2014.

Sandro Ramírez (306 minutes played): The striker from the Canary Islands made his league debut against Villarreal and ended the season having played in 12 games and scoring four goals. He played in all three competitions but got the bulk of his minutes in the beginning of the season.

Sergi Samper (286 minutes played): The young midfielder made his first appearance in Barça’s Champions League opening 1–0 win over APOEL, after which he played in three Spanish Cup matches.

Douglas (273 minutes played): The Brazilian wing-back played in two league and three Spanish Cup games.

Jordi Masip (180 minutes played): Barça’s third string goalkeeper played the Spanish Cup match against Huesca and the final league game against Deportivo, both at Camp Nou. He conceded three goals in two matches.

Gerard Gumbau (90 minutes played): The Girona native and Barça B defensive midfielder debuted with the first team in the 4–0 Spanish Cup victory over Elche.

Thomas Vermaelen (66 minutes played): The Dutch defender made his debut with the first team in the last game of the season after a long recovery from injury.

Alen Halilovic (31 minutes played): The young Croatian from Barça B played his first half hour in the Spanish Cup at Elche.

Edgar Ié (29 minutes played): The Barça B centre-back played almost 30 minutes in the first leg of the Spanish Cup last 32, making two big plays.
