FC Barcelona and Aston Villa FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Adama Traore for 10 million euros plus two million more if certain conditions are met.
FC Barcelona reserves the right to buy back the player during the first three years of the player’s contract and also has the right of first refusal for any possible future transfer.
The Club wishes to publicly express its gratitude to Adama Traoré for his professionalism and dedication while with the Club, as well as to wish him all the best in the future.
The striker leaves the Club after 63 games with Barça B. Last season he scored three goals in 37 games in the Spanish Second Divison. After coming up through the youth ranks at FC Barcelona, he made four appearances for the first team. His only goal came in the Copa del Rey in a tie against Huesca.
