The Barça handball team rounded off their ASOBAL league season at home with a comfortable win 36-24 win over Bathco Torrelavega in the Palau Blaugrana on Friday. There was a party atmosphere in the hall as the likes of Domen Makuc, Emil Nielsen, Antonio Bazán and Filip Saric made their final appearances as blaugranes in front of the culers. 

Barça took control early on in the encounter and by the 13th minute they were 10-7 ahead. The lead stretched to 19-10 at half time with the defensive solidity of Carlos Ortega's team making all the difference. 

Torrelavega were always playing catch up and a comeback was never on the cards as Barça coasted to a 36-24 win. Following the end of the game the captains received the ASOBAL league trophy as the crowd paid tribute to those departing stars who were making their final appearance at the Palau in blaugrana.
