Another win for the Barça handball side as they made it 14 in a row in all competitions with a 41-29 win over Puente Genil at the Palau Blaugrana in the Asobal league. Carlos Ortega's team dominated the encounter and the win was never in doubt for the league leaders. 

Barça began by dominating the game but opponents Puente Genil mounted early opposition to remain in the game at 7-5 down with just over 10 minutes played. 

As first half progressed the home side began to find their rhythm in attack with Dani Fernández and Aleix Gómez scoring five goals each in the opening half. Emil Neilsen's solidity in goal helped the blaugranes to a 23-13 advantage at the break. 

Rotations and the win 

With a 10 goal lead, Barça were able to make rotations in the second half with the likes of Barrufet and Bazán coming on. In goal Halgrimsson took over from Neilsen and continued his excellent recent form. The blaugranes closed out a 41-29 win to lead the table on 14 points with their next challenge coming in Europe on 13 November against Wisla Plock.
