The summer of 2020 means the return of Miquel Feixas to Barça. The club and the Catalan goalkeeper reached an agreement until June 30, 2024, with an option for one more season. After gaining experience in the Primera Division and becoming one of the most outstanding goalkeepers in the league with Industrias Santa Coloma, he returns home.
Feixas, born on September 4, 1997 in Barcelona, trained in the Barça youth setup between 2012 and 2018. He won three Spanish youth championships and the Segunda División with Barça B, in the 2016/17 season. Feixas made his debut with the first team when he was only 18 years old, in a league match against Jumilla played at the Palau Blaugrana on September 18, 2015.
Feixas was the third choice goalkeeper for the first team in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, before his departure to Industrias Santa Coloma.
In addition, he has also been an international at Under-18 and Under-21 level.
As a player, Feixas stands out for his agility between the sticks, and his good play with his feet.
