UE Olot 17-0 FC Barcelona: Mammoth win under pouring rain

The Barça women have got the preseason off to the perfect start with a humungous victory in the first of their warm-up fixtures. Coached by Fran Sánchez, they won by a staggering 17 goals to nothing against fellow Catalan outfit Olot.

The goals were converted by Irene (3), Pina (3), T. Morató (3), Andressa (2), Ruth, Andonova, Candela, Ainhoa, Laura and Torrodà under pouring summer rain and despite their superiority, the atmosphere at the ground was second to none.

Next up is another friendly on Saturday, this time against AEM Lleida.
