Bilbao bathed in blaugrana

Since early this morning, Bilbao has become increasingly blaugrana. The streets and plazas have been awash with Barça fans wherever you turn. They have come from far and wide by both land and air, and there is a real party atmosphere in the city as the final of all finals grows ever closer.

Early doors saw the arrival of over 1,300 Barça fans in 22 coaches via the trips arranged by FC Barcelona. The morning has seen more fans gradually arriving in Bilbao, and according to UEFA, around 40,000 blaugrana supporters are expected to be in the San Mamés stadium by kick-off.

Mass gathering at the Barça Fan Meeting Point

We are unstoppable when we come together and this led many travelling fans to congregate in Doña Casilda Iturrizar Park where the Barça Fan Meeting Point was set up. A blaugrana focal point full of activities for every fan. The Club were also represented there by Vice-president for the Institutional Area Elena Fort, the Director responsible for Women's Football Xavi Puig, and Board of Director members Xavier Barbany, Josep Ignasi Macià and Àngel Riudalbàs.

The event included games, competitions, concerts and many other surprises to raise the spirits of all those present even further almost up to kick-off time itself.
