First week of training done
Barça's 2026/27 squad has completed its first week of preseason. After undergoing the customary medical tests on Monday and training for five consecutive days at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, Hansi Flick's players will enjoy a day off on Sunday before returning to work on Monday for further preparation sessions.
On Saturday morning, the available first-team players brought the week to a close with another session on the training pitch. There was more physical work as they continued to fine-tune their preparations for the new season. As has been customary during these opening days, the German coach was once again joined by several young players from the Barça youth system.
A total of 15 players from Barça Atlètic and the U19 squad took part in the session: Orian Goren, Alex González, Òscar Gistau, Hamza Abdelkarim, Ibrahim Diarra, Shane Kluivert, Ebrima Tunkara, Toni Fernández, Guille Fernández, Jofre Torrents, Tommy Marqués, Brian Fariñas, Álvaro Cortés, Aron Yaakobishvili and Iker Rodríguez.
After Sunday's break, the team will return to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday.
