Hansi Flick: 'We need to focus on ourselves'
The past few weeks have been very positive at Barça. The team has recovered from being five points behind Real Madrid in the league to being four points ahead of their closest rival. However, for Hansi Flick, who addressed the media in a press conference on Friday, "there’s still a very long road ahead, with many matches to be played.”
In this respect, Flick believes "we have to focus on ourselves. Not on Real Madrid. 100% Barça.”
As far as the coach is concerned, if his players do their job right, they will reach the business end of the season with everything still to play for.
To achieve that, Barça need to win matches like Saturday’s game against Osasuna. “These are three very important points,” stressed the German. “The quality of training now is much better than it was two months ago. If we train at this level, we will improve.”

He praised the “attitude and mentality” of Marcus Rashford, highlighted the “potential” of Alejandro Balde, and spoke positively about Eric García’s performances as a midfielder in recent matches. He also reiterated that Joan García remains “the number one” between the posts.
