Another two FC Barcelona players now know they have work to do in the upcoming international break, the first of the season. Both Jules Kounde and new signing Roony Bardghji have been called up to their respective national sides for the games after the trip to the Vallecas stadium on Sunday.
Kounde on road to World Cup
The defender has been included by Didier Deschamps for the start of world cup qualifying for France, who will play against Ukraine (05/09 at 8:45pm CEST) in Poland, before taking on Iceland at the Parque de los Príncipes (09/09 at 8:45pm CEST). France are in Group D with both their opponents plus Azerbaijan.
Roony starts U21 European Championship qualification
When it comes to Roony Bardghji, the young winger has been called up for the Sweden U21s again for the first time in over a year. So the signing from Copenhagen is set to play the first two European Championship qualification games against Armenia at home (05/09 at 6pm CEST) and away to Montenegro (09/09 at 8:00pm CEST).
