The squad for the visit of Shakhtar Donetsk
The Champions League returns to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys with FC Barcelona welcoming the visit of Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday, kick off 6.45pm CEST. The blaugranes will be looking to maintain their 100% record so far in group H after successive wins over Antwerp and FC Porto in their two matches so far in the competition.
Xavi Hernández announced his squad on Tuesday for the visit of the Ukranian side and the full list is as follows: Ter Stegen, João Cancelo, Balde, R. Araujo, I. Martínez, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, João Félix, Christensen, Marcos A., Romeu, Gündoğan, Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, M. Casadó, Fermín, Cubarsí, Aleix Garrido, Marc Guiu and H. Fort.
Still missing due to injury are Kounde, Sergi Roberto, Raphinha, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Lewandowski.
Final session at the Ciutat Esportiva
On Tuesday the squad held their final session before the visit of Shakhtar at the Ciutat Esportiva. All the available first team players took part as well as Astralaga, H. Fort, Cubarsí, M. Casadó, Aleix Garrido and Marc Guiu.
