Royal trains for the first time at the Ciutat Esportiva

On Monday Emerson Royal trained together with Philippe Coutinho at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper as the two Brazilians did some ball work and some fitness work on the training ground. Sergio Agüero continued his preparations also at the training ground for the upcoming season. 

The Argentinian striker began training as a Barça player on 30 July and this Monday the Copa América 2021 champion did some ball work at the Ciutat Esportiva. 

The two new signings are preparing for the coming season in Barcelona whilst the rest of the squad take part in a preseason training camp in Germany. 

Royal, the defender from São Paulo, arrived in Barcelona on Sunday and this Monday starting at 5.30pm CEST his official presentation will be broadcast live on Barça TV+.
