Hard fought victory for Barça Atlètic away from home against Valencia Mestalla with a late brace from Joaquín Delgado earning them a valuable three points. The win allows Juliano Belletti's team to remain in contention in the play off zone of the Segunda Federación.

The home looked to press the blaugranes back from the kick off but the Barça were not to be intimidated with Tunkara impressing on his debut in the starting XI early on. Barça played more of the football in the first half with Guillem Víctor and Tunkara going close to opening the scoring.

Valencia too had chances in the first half with excellent defending from Oduro preventing Gamón from handing the advantage to the home side.

In the second half both side looked for the goal which appeared destined to be the winner. Valencia were reduced to 10 men when Lucas Núñez was dismissed for a late challenge on Villar. Delgado struck the post before his luck changed with six minutes left as he headed home Shane Kluivert's precision cross. The striker made sure of the win with a second in injury time to give Barça Atlètic their first win in four matches and keep their hopes of promotion alive.
