FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Diego Kochen, who will be staying at the club until 30 June 2028. He won't actually put pen to paper until March 19, the date of his 18th birthday. It was alos agreed that he will officially be included in the Barça Atlètic roster for the remainder of the season, wearing the number 24 jersey.
Culer since 2019
Born in Miami on 19 March 2006, Kochen joined the club in the summer of 2019 from the Marcet Foundation.
Last season he was in the U10B squad, but also spent time at the services of Barça Atlètic, featuring in a friendly against Olot on 29 DEcember del 2022.
Although he missed some of the current campaign through injury, the goalie has been named in first team squads as cover, especially since Ter Stegen became unavailable.
Kochen is also currently a member of the United States U17 national team.
