FC Barcelona continue with the construction phase of the future Spotify Camp Nou and as part of the meeting on Monday 4 March at the Architects' Association of Catalonia (COAC) where the stadium remodelling project was presented, today the board from the association paid a visit to the construction site to see its progress first hand.
The head of the COAC, Guim Costa i Calsamiglia, led the delegation of board members from COAC who were able to see the various areas of work taking place in this current phase and in which the pillars of the new structure for the third tier are becoming more and more visible. The work is going according to schedule and the repairs to the structure of the first and second tiers continue to move forward.
As well as the COAC, the first of four visits planned with associated architects took place, an initiative which forms part of the Club's attempt to promote the Espai Barça project and publicise the work that is taking place at FC Barcelona, constructing a new space in the Les Corts neighbourhood, which will become an architectural reference point for the city and beyond.
