Paco Alcácer joined FC Barcelona from Valencia at the end of August in the club’s final piece of business of the summer. Since then, he has featured five times, but despite not yet getting off the mark, the Spanish international is confident that goal will come.

Speaking to local radio station Rac1, the striker said: “I have to be calm because the first goal will eventually go in,” before adding that “the most important thing is for the first to go in”.

With the three best forwards in the world training alongside him every day, Alcácer talked about what a good experience it has been.

About Luis Suárez, he says he is “learning a lot from him”, someone who he describes as “the best striker in the world”. With limited opportunities to play, Alcácer stressed the need “to be prepared at any moment”.

Alcácer described teammate Sergi Roberto as a good example to follow due to his ability to be versatile until finding a permanent place in the FC Barcelona lineup.
