After watching his side defeat Al-Ahli 5-3 during Tuesday’s friendly in Doha, Luis Enrique gave his views on the game to Barça TV.

The boss stated that the game went “in best possible way” while technical secretary Robert Fernández was happy that “nothing serious happened” in regard to injuries.

Luis Enrique tried to give as many minutes as possible to all of his players in a game where “there was more attacking football being played than defending”.

All four of the team’s forwards scored – Messi, Neymar, Suárez and Alcácer – something which Robert was particularly happy about: “It’s always nice when the attackers score and even more so because it gives Alcácer confidence”.

Luis Enrique concluded his thoughts on the game by saying that the objective was “to recover as quickly as possible to think about the next game” which is the local derby against Espanyol on Sunday.

Luis Enrique weighs up the Champions League draw

The manager was asked about the Champions League draw which sees Barça go up against PSG in the last 16: “It does not surprise us. Arsenal and PSG are the two teams we meet most often. We did our bit to be able to play the second leg at home and we hope to get through the tie.”
