FC Barcelona arrive in Alicante

The FC Barcelona first team have arrived in Alicante for the first game of their Copa del Rey campaign against Hércules at the Estadio José Rico Pérez this evening at 10.00pm CET.

As usual for late kick-offs, the expedition didn’t leave Barcelona until fairly late in the day, with the flight taking off at around noon. After the one-hour journey, the players were transferred to their hotel to get some rest ahead of the match.

Directors Javier Bordas and Xavier Vilajoana are joining the 16 players and the coaching staff on the trip. Albert Soler, the director of professional sport, was also on the plane.
