Barça's U19A players celebrate a goal | VICTOR SALGADO - FCB

Despite a great start from Barça’s U19A side against Sporting Lleida, the team coached by García Pimienta still had to work hard for their 2-4 win.

In the first half, Barça’s intensity and dominance were rewarded with goals; Quique (min 8), Sergio Gómez (min. 30) and Mate (min 43) saw the visitors race into a 0-3 lead.

However, Radulovic, who had been a constant thorn in their side, would score twice in quick succession (min 47 and min 53) to give the hosts hope of a comeback. As Lleida pushed for an equaliser, Monchu’s penalty, fifteen minutes from the end of the match, was enough to give Barça some breathing space and see out the rest of the game relatively comfortably.

Barça’s U19A side are next in action when they host Nàstic on Saturday (12.00pm CET).
