  • Barça at Easter. The best of football and basketball!

Easter is coming to Fútbol Club Barcelona and we want to invite you to the very best sports events over the holiday season. If you fancy seeing football or basketball, then these are the games that are happening in Holy Week.

This Easter, enjoy FC BARCELONA vs REAL SOCIEDAD

Next April 21, the Camp Nou hosts a top Liga game against Real Sociedad. With just a few games left before the season ends, FC Barcelona should be in good contention to claim another championship. Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and the rest of the team will need to hit peak form as the competition moves into its most decisive stage. Real Sociedad are looking for a good finish in the league as well, and have some fine players of their own, including William José, Oyarzabal and Illarramendi, and will not want Barça to stand between them and a possible place in next season’s Europa League. So expect a tight battle between two teams that like to play the ball and take the game to the opposition – the essential ingredients for a fine game of football.

Two of the biggest teams in Spanish basketball come head to head this Easter. On the same day as the football, 21 April, the Palau Blaugrana is hosting the clash between Barça Lassa and Kirolbet Baskonia. Both teams are serious title contenders, so quality is a guarantee, and with the regular season drawing to a close, this is the kind of game that will decide the all-important match-ups in the playoffs, when we get to find out who will be taking home the trophy this year.
