Barça put in a dominant performance in a 10-1 victory to move into top spot on their own at the top of the OK League. Pablo Álvarez scored his 600th goal in the league in the game with Ferran Font, Marc Grau, Barrosi and Ignacio Alabart were also on the scoresheet. Before the start of the second half, Sergi Aragonés received the award for best player in September and October in the league. 

First step to victory

Barça started the game in intense fashion but lost Llorca between minutes 10 and 15. Nevertheless, in the 14th minute Pablo Álvarez opened the scoring, only for Joan Pascual to level things up for Alcoi. However, Álvarez scored again just a minute later to restore the home side's lead. Before half time Ferran Font found the net to put Ricard Ares' team 3-1 in front at the break. 

Second half goals 

In the second half Barça emerged determined to seal victory. Pablo Álvarez celebrated his hat-trick four minutes into the restart. Barroso added a fifth from the spot before the half hour mark. A man up in the 36th minutes both Font and Marc Grau found the net with Alabart added another a couple of minutes' later. 

The cherry on the cake came in the 48th minute when Pablo Álvarez made it 10-1 with his 600th goal in the league, 428 with Barça and 172 with Liceo. The win leaves Barça alone at the top of the table in the OK League.
