The Barça roller hockey team started the 2025/26 league campaign with a 4-1 win away at Igualada Rigat. Goals from Alabart, Llorca and a brace from Aragonés were enough to seal the win with the blaugranes now off to Argentina for the World Club Cup. 

Level start 

The game started off in vibrant fashion and Aragonés gave the blaugranes the lead after just 8 minutes. However, Igualada drew level thanks to gaol from Roger Bars on 12 minutes to keep the blaugranes on their toes. 

The team remained level until half time and in the second half the blaugranes asserted their dominance. A goal from Alabart on 38 minutes sent them ahead and strikes from Llorca and Alabart in the space of a minute sealed a 4-1 win for Ricard Ares' team in the first game of the league season.
