The FC Barcelona roller hockey team will have the chance to claim their first silverware of the season after beating Igualada Rigat HC 4-1 in the semi-final of the Catalan League. Ricard Ares' team will now face Calafell in the final in Lleida on Sunday.

Marc Grau strikes first 

It took Barça just five minutes to take the lead. Marc Grau took advantage of the blaugranes being a man up after a blue card for Igualada to fire home. Barça's rivals pressured but keeper Sergi Fernández made several vital saves to preserve his team's lead.

A flurry of goals just before half time sent the semi-final Barça's way. Xavi Barroso scored from a penalty on 20 minutes and an excellent turn from Alabart allowed him the opportunity to make it 3-0 on 25 minutes. 

Alabart was on target once again to make it 4-0 on 35 minutes before Igualada finally beat Sergi Fernández to make it 4-1. Chance for Barça came with Ferran Font going close but the result was never in doubt. 

Calafell's win 3-2 over Reus in the semi-final means they will be Barça's opponents in Sunday's final which starts at 12.15pm CEST at the Pavelló Onze de Setembre in Lleida.
