HC Sant Just 1-8 Barça: Powering into the semis

Like last Saturday at the Palau Blaugrana, Barça have beaten HC Sant Just, and not just by the narrow 3-1 of the first leg but by an incontestable 8-1 to go flying into the last four of the OK Liga. A hat-trick from Joao Rodrigues and a brace from Pau Bargalló, as well as single goals from Xavi Barroso, Sergi Llorca and Ignacio Alabart meant there never even the slightest shadow of doubt as to which of the sides would be progressing into the second-to-last round. 

In the semi-finals, Barça will now face Reus Deportiu, who also swept their quarter final, in their case against Calafell. That one will be a best-of-five series and Barça will have home court advantage, hence the opening games will be at the Palau.

There wasn't much of a story to this game. Barroso scored his goal ion the very first minutes and just 32 seconds later Rodrigues had doubled the lead.  fet el segon (0-2, min 2). Two goals from Bargalló followed in the five minutes that came after. 4-0 down after just seven minutes, the home fans knew this game, and hence the series, were over with most of the game yet to even play.

Having as good as already done the job, Barça took their feet off the gas for the remainder. No need to overdo it, especially with a potentially gruelling series against Reus to come next.
