Second Liga semifinal game won by the Barça roller hockey team, who are now one win away from the final after overcoming Noia Freixenet 5-3 in what proved a very tough game. That's two wins at the Palau Blaugrana and a win away at Sant Sadurní will see them through to the final.
Good start pegged back
Barça started really well, scoring after just four minutes, Joao Rodrigues finishing a Helder Nunes assist, as the visitors took longer to get going. The second came after great pressure, Pau Bargalló seizing on Noia's error to fire past Blai Roca (2-0, min. 7).
However, two goals by the visitors through Kyllian Gil and Antoni Salvadó tied the game at 2-2 with 17 minutes gone, which remained the score at the break, despite Sergi Llorca going close and hitting the upright.
Win confirmed
Noia Freixenet came out with the same intensity that saw them draw level and it needed Sergi Fernández to thwart all their efforts. It was looking tough for Barça, but Helder Nunes popped up to finish a great pass from behind the goal by Pau Bargalló to retake the lead.
The visitors equalised again through Adrià Ballart on 35 minutes, but Edu Castro's men responded with a great shot by Ignacio Alabart to make it 4-3. Helder Nunes then had a penalty saved by Blai Roca, but as the away side pushed for an equaliser, Pau Bargalló scored into an open net in the last minute to make it 5-3, confirming the win.
