Reus Deportiu Virginias 1–6 Barça: Win in the Clásico

Three more points from a tough away game keeps the unbeaten league run going

What a Clásico win for the Barça roller hockey team, defeating Reus 1-6. Goals by Joao Rodrigues (2), Joan Pascual, Helder Nunes, Pau Bargalló and Joan Ruano helped take Edu Castro's team to 30 points and the unbeaten run continues. Sergi Llorca missed the game due to a right ankle injury.

Barça score first

After a very even start, home advantage spurred on Reus to take control of the game, seizing on Barça's mistakes, but Sergi Fernández stood tall in the goal. That bought enough breathing space for Joao Rodrigues to score a long shot to make it 0-1 after 16 minutes, his eighth goal in the league.

The second goal came within three minutes, Joan Pascual finishing to make it 0-2 after 19 minutes. However, Sergi Aragonès scored a long shot for Reus to somewhat redress the balance. Halftime score 1-2.

Victory confirmed

The second half saw Reus emboldened by the goal before the break, while Barça were playing on the counter. A blue card for Compagno helped the task no end, Joao Rodrigues subsequently scoring from a great Bargalló pass for a two goal lead (1-3, min 37).

Soon after Helder Nunes scored Barça's fourth after 41 minutes, before the big win was confirmed by Pau Bargalló and Ruano, who scored his first goal in only his second competitive game. Final score in the hockey Clásico, 1-6.
