Barça 6-1 Deportivo Liceo: Win for the leaders

A great victory for Barça at the Palau, overcoming Deportivo Liceo 6-1. Both teams went for it, but the league leaders proved more effective, much to the delight of the 2,500 fans watching on.

Barça set the tone

This high stakes clash against two of the most in-form teams did not disappoint, with the early exchanges very even. However, Barça were first to score through a great strike by Marc Grau (1-0, min. 11).

The goal bolstered Barça, Marc Grau grabbing his second after a rebound (2-0, mín. 14). Despite the goals, both teams were giving as good as they got, Sergi Fernández keeping the home side's lead intact.

Two more goals before the break, Nunnes finishing a great Pau Bargalló assist (3-0, min. 23), before Bruno Di Benedetto grabbed one back for the visitors (3-1, min. 24).

No let up in pace after halftime, Barça actually scoring again straight away through a fabulous Nunnes goal after combining with Joao Rodrigues (4-1, min.30), who then scored the fifth with a lifted finish (5-1, min. 40). One more from Ignacio Alabart in last seconds confirming g the 6-1 win.
