FC Barcelona 5–0 Amatore Wasken Lodi: One foot in the Final Eight

A comfortable win puts the Catalans within a whisker of a place in the final stage of the WSE Champions League

Barça scored five to no reply against Amatore Wasken Lodi in Thursday's Champions League fixture, making it three wins out of three in their group so far.

It took 14 minutes to open the scoring against their Italian guests, Ignacio Alabart the man who claimed it. And when Nunes and Alabart added to the lead before half-time, it seemed clear enough where this game was heading.

Joao scored both goals in the second half of a game in which Carles Grau could boast a clean sheet in his first ever European game in the Barça goal.

Next up is Liceo on Sunday at 12pm CET in the Palau, while the Champions League returns on March 23 with the visit of Valongo.
