Barça 5-2 CP Voltregà Stern Motor: First game at the Palau and first win

Edu Castro's team were made to work hard for their 5-2 win in their first appearance of the season at the Palau in the OK league. Goals from Matias Pascual, Pau Bargalló and Ignacio Alabart, the latter grabbing a hat-trick sealed victory in their second game of the league campaign. 

Barça made to work hard

The visitors set about frustrating the home side in the first half and Voltregà almost made it to half time without conceding. However, Bargalló and Matias Pascual finally combined just before the break for the latter to beat impressive keeper Javi Sánchez. 

The game came to life in the second half and in a frenetic beginning, Bargalló made it 2-0 on the counter attack. Nevertheless, Molas pulled one back before Alabart restored Barça's two goal lead. Teixidó then brought the visitors to within a goal once again before Alabart decided matters with a penalty and a direct hit to make it 5-2 and claim a hat trick. 

Barça's next game comes away at Girona on Tuesday, kick off 8pm CEST.
