Reus Deportiu Virginias 0–3 Barça: Great win for the blaugranes

Edu Castro's team go ahead in the tie with an excellent away win in the semi final play off

A great away win for the blaugranes in the Palau d'Esports in Reus. Barça took a 3-0 victory thanks to a brace from Helder Nunes and a goal from Pau Bargalló and they now lead the tie 2-1 with a chance to book a place in the final if they win again in Reus on Sunday in game four.

The game saw a nervous start for both sides with the tie evenly poised. Reus went close to opening the scoring when Marc Julià had an effort well saved by Barça keeper Sergi Fernández.

Reus keeper Ballart made several fine saves himself before Pau Bargalló finally broke the deadlock for the blaugranes just seconds before half time.

In the second half Reus tried to react but Helder Nunes made it two for the blaugranes on 40 minutes. Three minutes later Nunes grabbed a second to safeguard a vital win for Barça.

A win on Sunday for Barça would see them through to the final with no need for game five in the semi final tie.
