The Spanish Super Cup is Barça's! A 4-1 win over Reus Deportiu in the final played in Lloret de Mar, sees the section earn its eleventh Super Cup. Helder Nunes was the hero with a hat-trick, with Pau Bargalló on target for the fourth. As in the semifinal, Edu Castro's men were subject to a hostile start from their opponents with Raul Marín particularly physical.
Once Helder Nunes had given Barça the lead on the half hour, however, there was only one team in it. Though it took until the 34th minute to extend the lead, it was never in doubt, and two goals in a minute from Nunes sandwiched Raul Marín's consolation. With the whistle about to be blown, Pau Bargalló, from a direct free-kick, rounded off Barça's triumph (4-1).
