Thanks to goals from Esquerdinha (2) and Ferrao, Andreu Plaza’s side managed an incredible comeback in the last five minutes of the match against CA Osasuna Magna, turning around a two-goal deficit in the process.
Barça Lassa began with great defensive intensity to stop the visitors having chances on Juanjo’s goal, but a poor aim also prevented the blaugranes from going ahead themselves. By half-time, neither team had broken the deadlock (0-0).
A much more aggressive Osasuna side soon got their reward after the break, Chino firing them ahead from outside the area in the 26th minute. As Barça pressed for an equaliser, Eric Martel doubled the visitors’ lead (0-2 min 29). That forced Andreu Plaza to use the goalkeeper as another means of attack and, thanks to the offensive know-how of the hosts and great desire, Esquerdinha brought them level with two goals in a minute.
Barça Lassa began to dominate the closing stages and, roared on by a boisterous Palau crowd, Ferrao completed a comeback (3-2, min 37) that had seemed unlikely just a few moments earlier.
