Barça Lassa v Elite Futsal: Convincing win on debut (8-0)

Goals from Esquerdinha (2), Joselito, Ferrao (2), Dyego and Adolfo, and an own goal from Zúñiga, give Andreu Plaza's side a clear victory over the American side

Barça Lassa have secured their first three points of the Itercontinental. They secured them against Elite Futsal, at the Bangkok Futsal Arena, in the first group stage game with an 8-0 win.

The goals came from Esquerdinha, Joselito and a Zúñiga own goal, in the first half; and Ferrao (2), Dyego, Esquerdinha again and Adolfo, who scored after the break.

Andreu Plaza’s dominated from the start and their attacking display was the highlight of the game. In fact, Danilo, with seven saves, was Elite Futsal’s best player. However, he couldn’t do anything to avoid the 3-0 scoreline at the break.

Esquerdinha opened the scoring before Joselito got the second with a shot into the top corner to put Barça Lassa 2-0 up after 8 minutes. They then had to wait until the 19th minute to get the third following a corner that went in off Zúñiga.

In the second half, Ferrao got a double in under five minutes, to make it 5-0 after 24 minutes. They Dyego, Esquerdinha and Afolfo finished off the game. The considerable margin of victory means Barça Lassa have begun the Intercontinental well and they play Magnus Futsal de Falcao next.
