This weekend, Andrés Iniesta received the U14B team at his new home: the Noevir Stadium. The ex-blaugrana captain met up with the young academy players on Sunday after they had won the Junior Soccer World Challenge tournament in Osaka in the final against Arsenal (3-1).
Iniesta, who had just played his game against Yokohama F. Marinos in the Japan League, congratulated the U14B team and answered questions from the captains Héctor Fort, Alexis Olmedo and Pau Prim, about his life in Japan.
Andrés Iniesta explained how tough it has been physically to adapt to life with Vissel Kobe as they are fighting hard in fifth five points behind FC Tokyo in third, who are in the final qualification spot for the Asian Champions League.
The former captain also took advantage of the moment to give the young blaugranes some advice and take a group photo.
The goalscorer Marc Guiu showed Iniesta the cup won in the final against Arsenal and the Club legend also saw Alejandro Domínguez again. The youngest player at the Masia Residence last season was the player who, along with Bilal Acchiba, presented Iniesta with a shirt with all his trophies won with FC Barcelona on it.
